Photo entered into this [link] contest. The contest is title "Simple". Even when I shot this flower, the idea was to keep it as uncluttered as possible to highlight the beauty of the flower. For me, the idea of simplicity comes on two fronts: The use of negative space keeps the entire frame simple. Second, the flower is quite a simple plant, but through the framing and exposure it is made more beautiful.
